Welcome to
our homepage.
Our interest
for cats started in 1994, when Lisette bought her
first cat. It was a Maine Coon called Ghost.
As Ghost should not be "lonely child"
Lisette very fast bought another Maine Coon called
Gisse. When
Gisse arrived, the interest for shows started.
Now a period with a lot
of shows in Denmark and
foreign countries started. Another Maine Coon,
Ghitha moved to our home. In the following
years, we have had a lot of fun and great times in
company with cats and catfriends.
Most of our
catfriends are owners of "Sacred birmans" ,
therefore, Jan got the idea, that we also should own a
Birman. Jan called our good friends, Ketty and Ole
Hartwich and ordered a male. Jan and Ole arranged
the trade over an Irish Coffee, and that's the way
Gunny became the next member of our family.
Now a new
period of our life with cats started. The shows got
more frequent and we became part of the Birmanworld.
Later Groovy and Garcon came to our
family and we became "real" birmanfreaks.
In the summer
of 2005, after so many years as
catowners, Jan thought, that we should have our own breed. We bought
Fame and we should then find a catteryname...
After a lot of sleepless nights, we disided to call
our breed: "GiaGuyon", A character for each
cat we have owned. Both "G's" spells with
capital letters, as 6 of our 7 cats starts with an
"G".
In that way
we now have a small home-breeding of Sacred
Birmnas, and our cats are a part of our family.
Besides our cats we also have to boys Alexander and
Andreas. Our cats are therefore used to children.
All our
kittens will leave our home with a Fife pedigree and vaccinated
according to valid rules.
We will love
to be helpfull with any questions about our breed or
cats in generel. We can recomend other breeders,
too, if we are unable to help with the kind of kitten
you prefere.
